One of the most dramatic and popular waterfalls to visit in the state of New Hampshire is Glenn Ellis Falls, located on Route 16, just south of the entrance to the Mount Washington Auto Road. With its narrow 64 foot drop, it's a beautiful sight. The stone staircase that descends along the Ellis River to the falls has many viewing points that are carefully designed to give the best vantage of the falls. If you've ever been here, you'll know this kind of photograph in this close up location is not easy to capture. The wind created from the waterfall sprays out a fairly constant stream of mist that will coat the lens almost instantly. Made for a tricky shoot. Thanks for visiting!
